Removing the parallel cable after the XS40 Board is configured

Q:

Can you please tell me that which pins can not be accessed and one more thing that i want to know is that can i remove the parallel cable from the xs40 board after dowloading through the parallel cable?

A:

You can get the list of I/O pins from table 5 in the XS40 Board manual. The only pin in the table which you cannot access through the breadboard connector is pin 75.

You can remove the parallel port cable after configuring the FPGA as long as you insure that the /PROG pin stays at a high level. Otherwise a low level on this pin will make the FPGA try to reconfigure itself.
