How do I connect an Xchecker cable to an XS40 Board?

Q:

We are trying to download a design using the XChecker Cable. It doesn't seem to work properly. The Xchecker cable is the only way to activate the Hardware Debugger Tool in Foundation. Could you please supply an answer to this matter?

A:

The XS Boards don't have an interface that is compatible with the XChecker cable. You will have to build an interface by connecting the flying leads of the Xchecker cable to the pins on the underside of the XS Board. The connections are as follows:

Xchecker	XS40
Lead		Pin
====================
VCC		2
CCLK		73
DONE		53
DIN		71
PROGRAM		55
INIT		41
RST		8
RT		32
RD		30
TRIG		7
CLKI		13
CLKO		9
TDI		15
TCK		16
TMS		17
GND		52

You also have to disconnect the parallel port download cable from the XS40 Board and remove the shunts from the following jumpers:

Jumper		Shunt
=======================
J4		removed
J6		removed
J10		removed
J11		removed
