Supply voltages for chips on the XS40 Board

Q:

I am building a add-on card for the XC4005XL card and need to know if the microcontroller is using the 5V or 3.3V power supply on the V1.1 card? I also need to know the power supply connection for the other IC.

A:

Except for the FPGA, all the ICs use the output of the 5V regulator. The FPGA gets 5V or 3.3V from the other regulator depending upon whether it is an XC4000E or XC4000XL, respectively.
